Howling Diablos Divine Trash Highway
The Howling Diablos are a funk/blues jam band from Detroit. Since their formation out of the band in the 1990's from Urbations fame, they have played with and opened for Kid Rock, George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic, Alice Cooper, Albert Collins, Ben Harper, Hank Williams Jr, NRBQ and The James Gang. This band is amazing live and their recordings capture their spirit well. With veteran Detroit Drummer Johnny Bee Badanjek, Mo Hollis on Bass, Erik Gustafson on guitar, frontman/guitarist Tino Gross and sax/harp player Johnny Evans bringing up the funk, this band is what every detroiter knows as the real Detroit sound.

Thier latest release is Divine Trash Highway...pick it up.

Piers Faccini
If Jim Morrison and Patti Smith had an acoustic love child it would be Piers Faccini. His latest album Two Grains of Sand draws on Faccini’s nomadic lifestyle and wide array of influences. Trace Magazine explains “Drawing from the great African bluesman Ali Faraka Toure, the American beat cowboy Bob Dylan and the dulcet Brazilian maestro Caetano Veloso, Faccini embodies all of his said heroes without pandering to mimicry or conceit.”

Born in England to an Italian father and an English mother, Faccini was raised in France and spent his early adulthood roaming the streets of London and Paris. We love this album and hope you do too.
